Wehrheim is located about 25 kilometers north from Frankfurt am Main. In just 25 minutes by car, you can reach the Frankfurt Airport, the fair, as well as the central station in Frankfurt am Main. Only a 5 minutes’ walk away from our beautiful hotel, you find the train station of Wehrheim with good connections in all directions.

Due to the pleasant traffic connection to the Rhein-Main-Area, with a stay in Wehrheim you have the possibility to combine the peaceful and pure nature of our beautiful Taunus with the vibrant and cultural facets of Frankfurt am Main.

The community Wehrheim in the High-Taunus area consists of the districts Wehrheim, Oberhain, Pfaffenwiesbach and Friedrichsthal. Idyllically located at the foot of the Saalburg, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests, the old town of Wehrheim with its beautifully restored half-timbered houses and the city gate offers a lovely picture.

A central point in Wehrheim is the „Wehrheimer Mitte“. Besides the various shops, the dancing school, the “Taunus Sparkasse” and the “Fitness Lounge”, you will also find the “Café Klatsch” as well as the “Limes Hotel”. Every Thursday from 9:00am to 2:00pm there is a weekly market on the market placesta.

For excursions you find the declared World Heritage Site „Römerkastell Kapersburg“, the „Römerkastell Saalburg“, the "Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark“,as well as the attractive amusement park „Freizeitpark Lochmühle“ in the immediate vicinity.

Also listed as a World Heritage Site, the "Limes" forms a 13 km landmark towards our neighbor communities and also is a worthwhile destination for excursions.

Wehrheim is a starting point for beautiful walks and cycling tours. Separated through the Taunus-Ridge from the densely populated Front-Taunus, the High-Taunus provides a pleasant climate in summer as well as in winter and serves as local recreational area for ??the Rhein-Main region.

In all areas of Wehrheim, you find beautiful village squares, with picturesque half-timbered houses, which invite to linger. For historically interested people, the Museums of Local History in Wehrheim as well as in Pfaffenwiesbach are worth to be seen.

Furthermore worth to be mentioned, are the many well-tended parkways with their fruit trees as well as the numerous orchard meadows, which form a bridge between the life in the village and the life in nature.

Since 2002, Wehrheim also is called “the apple village” due to the many orchard meadows.

Every year, the “Apple-Blossom-Queen” is crowned as part of a big festival.
